The Recipient menu, which is only visible when working on a client's or , consists of 4 ancillary menus — File, Order By, Security, Tools.

The Tools menu, in particular, contains a variety of management tools that enable you to easily carry out many otherwise difficult tasks. For example, removing all 1099-NEC recipients who earned less than $600 in Nonemployee compensation, or, recomputing Social Security and Medicare wages and withholding for all employees, or, printing all W-2 forms for a specific reporting state, just to name a few.
The first step in completing many of the tasks you encounter will generally involve a global manipulation of a form's control indicators. , which are displayed along the top edge of each form's user interface, are defined below.

VOID — If checked, Account Ability skips the form during all processing. Void forms are similar to deleted forms that have not been removed from the database. The VOID indicator is specific only to Account Ability and cannot be used to void returns previously sent to recipients, IRS, or SSA.
Efile — If checked, the form will be included in the next electronic transmittal file you create. The Efile indicator applies to electronic filers only and can be ignored by plain paper filers.
Printed — If checked, the form is considered already printed and is not printed during the next print session.
CORR-G — Forms 1098, 1099, 3921, 3922, 5498, W-2G — If checked, the form is either a 1-Transaction correction or the of a 2-Transaction correction.
CORR-C — Forms 1098, 1099, 3921, 3922, 5498, W-2G — If checked, the form is the of a 2-Transaction correction.
